Every on-time day fills a square. Weekends never break it, and recorded leave is excused — so the only thing that ends a streak is being late.

Puncto has no account, no backend and no analytics. Your settings and progress are stored locally on your device, and location is only read while the app is in the foreground.

No. Puncto checks your location only while the app is open in the foreground, and it reconciles the days you missed the next time you open it. There is no background tracking.
What happens on weekends?＋
Days outside your schedule are recorded as off days. They neither extend nor break a streak — pick the weekdays that count when you set the streak up.
I was there but forgot my phone.＋
Log it manually from the home screen, or correct a missed automatic check-in after the fact. Genuine absences can be recorded as leave, which excuses the day without ending the streak.
Can I bring an existing streak with me?＋
Yes — choose a start date and every scheduled day through yesterday is marked on time. It’s based on your own confirmation, and it doesn’t create a check-in for today.
Do I need an account?＋
Never. There is no sign-up, no email and no sync. That also means your history lives on one device — it won’t follow you to a new phone.
